About a month and a half ago I went to a pretty wicked party. Here are a few shots to wrap up just how much fun it was. Congrats M & P. And thanks a million for letting us join the fun. 😉
Sessions like this one are good for the soul. It has been two years cancer-free for this bombshell, so her girls came together to celebrate with her. What better way to celebrate life than with with laughter?
You’re an inspiration Fran.
As far as I’m concerned, fall is the most incredible time of the year. I’m not sure when or why I started to be emotionally tied to a season – but for whatever reason, I feel like fall is an old friend. When I look at the photographs of this beautiful family, I’m moved by the colours and warmth that wraps around each one of these gorgeous people. Seriously – we live in a piece of heaven.
Thank you so much, Hansen family, for letting me capture you on that perfect day. 🙂
I have always thought that this birthday girl’s mom was one of the coolest women alive – and she proved it yet again when, for her daughter’s 13th birthday, she hired me to photograph this happy group of young women. As it turned out, Sylvan Lake was at it’s best that day – the water was warm, the sun was shining and the beach wasn’t packed. Then to top it off, I had a group of girls who ate up the camera! Nothing makes me happier than listening to the giggles of children (even when they’re ‘big kids’!). This was such a fun shoot – and absolutely something I will be doing with my daughter and her friends in the years to come. Birthday Party Photography, here I come!
Thanks again J & Crew – such a fun day. You are all so beautiful, inside and out. xox
I was lucky enough to call Sylvan Lake, Alberta ‘home’ for a few years of my life, so I can sincerely appreciate why this family adores their town the way they do. It was such a beautiful, sunny day in July to photograph the Somerville family at Marina Bay – and, of course, the infamous Pete’s at the Beach!
